With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, the once-ambitious vision of enabling people to live “healthily, happily, and up to 120 years old” is edging closer to reality. Since last year, ReBlood Group has intensified its focus on AI-driven innovation, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address long-standing challenges within the healthcare sector.
During a recent visit to Taiwan, Dr. Tian Jiangsen, former Deputy Director of Microsoft’s Asia Research Institute, selected just two private companies for his itinerary—one of which was ReBlood Group. While there, he toured the Argo Health Rejuvenation Center and experienced its facilities firsthand.
AI-Driven Era of Precision Health: New Breakthroughs in Smart Medicine
On March 27, Yushan AI, Heho Health, and ReBlood Group joined forces with leaders from government, academia, and industry to host a high-profile forum focused on the latest trends in health technology. The event explored the evolution from cloud to edge computing and their transformative applications in health management. Moderated by Lu Mingfeng, Secretary-General of the Taipei City Biotechnology Association, the forum featured prominent experts including Shi Chongliang, Director-General of the Bureau of National Health Insurance; Zhang Can, founder of Heho Health; and Xie Bangchang, Chairman of the Taiwan AI Development Association. Many of the insights shared during the event echoed ReBlood Group’s vision—highlighting AI-driven health management as a catalyst for a new era of longevity, where individuals can proactively safeguard their health and that of their loved ones, regardless of their current condition.
The heavyweight perspective of the forum: Innovative applications of AI empowering health management
1.Driving Medical Innovation with Health Insurance Big Data
Director-General Shi Chongliang stated that the Bureau of National Health Insurance is actively integrating AI with health insurance data to boost the efficiency of personal health management. He emphasized that health insurance databases are instrumental in advancing the health industry. By effectively managing these datasets and combining them with AI technology, the ability to predict individual health risks and manage diseases can be significantly enhanced.
2.Creating a New Model for Taiwan’s Health Industry
Zhang Can, founder of Heho Health, highlighted a critical gap in chronic disease management, noting that 72% of patients struggle to translate medical knowledge into actionable lifestyle changes. This disconnect between information and everyday behavior underscores the need for more effective tools. To bridge this gap, AI will be leveraged to deliver personalized health recommendations, empowering individuals to make healthier choices in their daily lives.
3.Big Data-Driven Personalized Health Predictions
Xie Bangchang, Chairman of the Taiwan AI Development Association, explained that AI models can dynamically predict individual health risks by analyzing large-scale group data. By inputting personal information, these AI-driven models can identify disease risks through patterns found in collective datasets. Despite individual differences, similar health trends can be detected, enabling more accurate and proactive health management.
